KOTOBUKI High-Efficiency Decanter Centrifuge

| The sewage sludge treating process consists of thickening, digestion and
dewatering of the sludge produced in water treating systems; and the dewatering
process, one of the last stages of treatments, is largely divided into the
filtering method and centrifuging method. The screw decanter-type centrifuge has
recently increased in the frequency of being introduced owing to the large
processing capacity per unit as well as easiness of odor-control and facile
operation/maintenance. We have improved the screw decanter type centrifuge by
adding unique pressurizing mechanism and developed the "KOTOBUKI High Efficiency
Centrifugal Decanter" anew, to which a hydraulic control system is incorporated
enabling the activation of differential speed mechanism and stable continuous
operation at a marginal differential speed, thus attaining a substantial
reduction of the water content of cake with minimal addition of cohesive agent.
