KOTOBUKI INDUSTRIES acquired the CENTRUS (former "CONTURBEX") business from SUMITOMO HEAVY INDUSTRIES, LTD. in 2005. CENTRUS has a good reputation as a continuous screen basket centrifuge since 1963 for solids/liquid separation and dewatering applications having average particle sizes greater than 100 microns. 800 units are installed in a variety of industries such as Chemical Industry, Food Industry, Metal Industry, Petrochemical/Plastic Industry, and more.

Fully automated continuous operation |
|
The scroll continuously scrapes and transports the separated solids retained
on the screen to the discharge zone. The system ensures a fully automated
continuous operation. |

Excellent dewatering performance |

The separated solids on the screen can be transported by the scroll within a second. Which results in a thinner solids layer on the screen and minimizes filtration resistance. This principle leads to its excellent dewatering performance. |

High performance with lower energy |

The conical basket has an angle to lower the coefficient of friction in
transporting the solids. Both the desirable angle and the rapid dewatering
with the scroll minimize the solids transportation energy and allow a larger
